the new, completely customizable, Microlite/NOMEX™ Helmet Shield. We are
pleased to spread the good news about how the Microlite/NOMEX™ Helmet Shield
can provide your department with a durable, attractive and long lasting
identification system. The Microlite/NOMEX™ Helmet Shield is not an
alternative to conventional shields; it has become the new standard in
firefighter identification.
The Microlite/NOMEX™ Helmet Shield meets NFPA 1971, and is stitched
entirely in DuPont NOMEX® thread. All shields are highly fire and heat
resistant, and all come with fire-retardant Velcro backing. Each shield is
precision die-cut for consistency throughout the set, and all custom embroidery
is done in house to ensure the highest quality. Make no mistake, the
Microlite/NOMEX™ shield is not a decorative item, but rather a very functional
piece of equipment.
